Prior to being a FinTech Business consultant in ElectrifyNetwork, a company that harnesses the power of Renewable Energy using the Blockchain technology in order to decentralize the use of energy and make it accessible everywhere through the peer to peer trading and implementing UNSDG2030. She is the co-Founder of Makhla a start up awarded the Best social Business prize 2017 from Injaz an organization that empowers youth entrepreneurship initiative as well as a winning award from the first Ministry in Tunisia. The company is committed to effectively achieve the UN sustainable development goals mainly( Gender equality , Climate action and decent work & economic development), not only empower women in rural by providing them with job opportunities and capacity building through trainings and workshops , but also helping reduce the quantity of palm leaves waste that is damaging the southern ecosystem ( 9k each year) . Meriam has also been part of the no hate speech movement implementation in her community , a compaign led by the Council of Europe Youth Department seeking to mobilise young people to combat hate speech and promote human rights. She was invited by the Europe Commission and MedUni to the Forum Nazional Giovani for empowering youth to take action about social justice , democracy and Global citizenship . She is a Future Team coordinator of global youth movement connecting more than 35,000 activists around the world for collaboration solving local, regional and global challenges leading to sustainable peace and UN Sustainable development Goals . The network has been established in The World Festival of Youth and students in Sochi 2017 – Russia which included panel discussions and open lectures on crucial issues of youth policy and international relations such as «Culture and globalization», «Global economy», «Knowledge economy», «Public institutions’ development» and «Politics and international security»., Meriam was nominated as a cultural mediator in the “voices of memory” which is a unique experience made in collaboration of Museum Lab , International centre of Transitional Justice and university of Birmingham that reflects the testimonials of women who faced social injustice in the dictatorship period . she was a Vice President in AIESEC where she developed Leadership skills and Global citizenship for youth through exchange programs to effectively impact the society .She is also a council adviser at International Youth Council in Tunisia and leading a Global youth work Projects that advocates for the internationalization and Youth Mobility through intercultural dialogue , and moderating international Conference Gathering more than 30 nationalities . she is a Congress committee in Tunisia at the United Religions Initiative , a global grassroots interfaith network that cultivates peace and justice by engaging people to bridge religious and cultural differences and work together for the good of their communities and the world and engaged in environmental sustainability and youth program in the United Kingdom.”
