Awarded Best National Director Award to Nepali Youth in Turkey

Shiwang Dutt, a 20-year-old Nepali student from Nepal Engineering College (NEC) Duwakot Changunarayan Bhaktapur, has been awarded the Best National Director Award in Istanbul, Turkey. Dutt, a first-year BE Electronics and Communication student at the NC, received the award at the Global Peace Summit 2020, Turkey, organized by Global Peace Chain, an international organization headquartered in the United States.  

Principal of NEC Prof.Dr. Harikrishna Shrestha said that the success of his student was a matter of pride for all Nepalis. Dutt has been honored with the award for presenting the best working paper on world peace at the international conference of the organization, which has a network of more than 130 countries.  

Dutt, the youngest of the national directors, was honored with the award by the organization’s program director Muhammad Ahmed. It is said that representatives of different countries are participating in the conference which will be held from 15 to 18 October 2020.
